S<\/strong>ituated in the Downtown Elkin area of the Yadkin Valley area Offering SOLID BIBLICAL PREACHING, Sharing the Love Of Jesus, and sharing that Love throughout the hedges and highways. Our Histroy is one that ties straight back to the Old Chatham Manufacuting <\/strong>and the community that worked there with Spirit filled Worsh<\/strong>ip and an Impactful outreach to the World Wide Community. We are a place where you are family. \nThe Bible<\/strong>\n

The Bible is the Word of God, written by men, inspired by God. It is the truth, without any mixture of error, and in its entirety points toward Christ who is Himself the focus of divine revelation. Because the Bible is the inspired Word of God without error, it is the ultimate authority in all things and the supreme standard for all human conduct. It is the foundation of our Church. The Church<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Church is a group of believers following Jesus into community and onto mission. \u00a0 A New Testament church is a local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel for the purpose of advancing the Gospel to the ends of the earth in accordance with God’s mission through the power of the Holy Spirit. \u00a0The church is the Body of Christ which includes all of the redeemed of all the ages, believers from every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation. \u00a0We believe that the 2 ordinances of the church are baptism and communion as a testimony of faith in Christ. God<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is one and only one living and true God. He has revealed Himself in the Bible, He is the Creator, Preserver, Redeemer and Ruler of the whole universe. God is infinite in His holiness, full of all power, knows all things and is perfect in limitless love for His creation. \u00a0We believe in the triune nature of God – one God in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 61:1; Matthew 28:19; Mark 1:9-11; Luke 1:35; John 5:21-23; 14:10, 16; Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:8-10; James 2:19)<\/p>\n

Jesus Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jesus Christ is God in human flesh. Being God, He has always existed and always will exist. He chose of His own accord to descend to earth, to take on humanity for Himself, to live a sinless life, to work signs and wonders, to be put to death on the cross and to suffer the full wrath of God on behalf of all mankind. Three days after His death, Jesus rose again from the dead, paying the price of death on behalf of any person who would turn from their sin, believe in and follow Him. Jesus is the one and only hope for salvation to all people everywhere and now reigns as the king and judge over all creation. \u00a0According to the Bible, He will return to earth once more one day to put a permanent end to sin and establish His Holy kingdom with all those who have received His salvation for eternity. The Holy Spirit<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every believer from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily. (Genesis 1:2; Psalms 51:11; 139:7 ff.; Isaiah 61:1-3; Joel 2:28-32; Mark 1:10; Lk 1:35; 4:1; 11:13; 12:12; John 15:26; 16:7-14; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4; 13:2; Romans 8:9-11, 14-16, 26-27; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Ephesians 1:13-14; 2 Peter 1:21; Revelation 22:17)<\/p>\n

Man<\/strong><\/p>\nMan\u00a0 is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation. Man was created to have fellowship with God but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man cannot attain a right relationship with God through his own effort. Every human personality is uniquely created, possesses dignity, and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Eternity<\/strong><\/p>\nMan was created to exist forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

Salvation<\/strong><\/p>\nSalvation by the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.
